FOVTER provides a 2-Year Limited Warranty for eligible furniture purchased directly from www.fovter.com.
This warranty begins on the date the product is delivered and applies only to the original purchaser. The warranty is non-transferable and does not extend to subsequent owners or purchasers.
Unless a product is specifically sold for another intended use, this warranty applies to products used under normal residential conditions. Commercial or other non-residential use is not covered unless the product is expressly sold by FOVTER for that purpose.
1. What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty covers qualifying defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal residential use when the product has been properly assembled, used, and maintained as intended.
Depending on the product and nature of the defect, covered issues may include:
- Structural defects affecting frames, supports, joints, furniture panels, or other structural components.
- Defective hardware, hinges, drawer slides, connectors, or similar components supplied with the product.
- Manufacturing defects affecting opening, closing, extending, rotating, lifting, or other mechanisms supplied as part of the product.
- Manufacturing defects that materially affect the product's normal function or intended use.
Upholstered Furniture and Seating
For sofas, sectionals, chairs, and other upholstered seating products, qualifying manufacturing defects may include defects affecting:
- Frames and structural supports.
- Internal support or suspension systems.
- Stitching, seams, or upholstery construction.
- Built-in mechanisms or hardware.
- Cushioning components where a manufacturing defect materially affects the product's normal function.
Normal changes that occur through regular use are not considered manufacturing defects and are subject to the exclusions below.
2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This limited warranty does not cover damage or conditions that are not caused by a qualifying defect in materials or workmanship, including:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Minor scratches, scuffs, dents, or other cosmetic changes resulting from normal use.
- Normal fading or gradual changes in color or appearance over time.
- Normal fabric pilling.
- Gradual softening, compression, settling, wrinkling, or changes in the feel of cushions or upholstered materials resulting from normal use.
- Natural variations in wood grain, color, texture, stone pattern, veining, finish, or other natural material characteristics that are not product defects.
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, improper use, or overloading.
- Damage caused by improper assembly, installation, cleaning, care, or inadequate maintenance.
- Damage caused by unauthorized alterations, modifications, or repairs.
- Damage caused by excessive moisture, water exposure, or prolonged exposure to inappropriate humidity conditions.
- Damage caused by excessive heat or direct exposure to heat sources, including fireplaces, radiators, space heaters, hot objects, or other abnormal high-temperature conditions.
- Damage occurring while the product is moved, stored, transported, or handled by the customer or another third party after delivery.
- Commercial or non-residential use unless the product is specifically sold by FOVTER for that purpose.
Indoor and Outdoor Use
Furniture sold by FOVTER for indoor use is intended to be used indoors. Damage caused by outdoor exposure to an indoor product is not covered under this warranty.
If FOVTER later offers a product that is expressly identified and sold as suitable for outdoor use, qualifying defects in materials or workmanship may be covered when the product is used and maintained according to its intended outdoor-use instructions.
For products specifically designed for outdoor use, normal weathering, gradual UV-related fading, damage caused by extreme weather, inadequate maintenance, improper storage, or environmental exposure beyond the product's intended conditions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
If you are unsure whether an issue may qualify for warranty coverage, please contact FOVTER Customer Support for review.
3. Missing Parts and Delivery-Related Damage
Missing Parts
If you discover that your product is missing parts, hardware, or components required for normal assembly or use, please contact FOVTER Customer Support as soon as reasonably possible.
After verifying the order and the missing component, FOVTER will determine the appropriate solution, which may include providing the required replacement part or another appropriate remedy.
Delivery Damage
Physical damage that occurs during transportation or is visible when the product is delivered is handled separately under our Return & Refund Policy.
If your furniture arrives damaged, please follow the return request instructions provided in our Return & Refund Policy.
A qualifying manufacturing defect discovered after delivery may still be reviewed under this 2-Year Limited Warranty.
4. How Approved Warranty Claims Are Resolved
After reviewing the claim and available evidence, FOVTER will determine the most appropriate resolution based on the nature, severity, and circumstances of the qualifying defect.
Depending on the issue, an approved resolution may include:
- Repair or repair assistance
- Replacement parts
- Replacement of the affected component
- Replacement of the affected product
- Refund, when repair, replacement parts, component replacement, or a reasonable product replacement is not reasonably available
FOVTER may arrange or authorize an appropriate repair where repair is considered a practical solution.
The appropriate resolution will be determined after the warranty claim has been reviewed. No specific remedy is guaranteed before the review is completed.
When a refund is determined to be the appropriate final resolution, FOVTER will provide instructions regarding the affected product and the applicable refund arrangement.
5. Replacement Parts, Products, Shipping, Repair, and Labor Costs
For an approved warranty claim, FOVTER will cover the cost of replacement parts or a replacement product when those items are determined to be necessary as part of the approved warranty resolution.
Any associated shipping or return-shipping arrangements will be determined based on the circumstances of the individual claim.
When shipping or return shipping is approved by FOVTER as part of the warranty resolution, FOVTER will cover the applicable approved shipping costs and provide the customer with the necessary instructions.
Please do not independently arrange:
Return shipping.
Third-party repairs.
Installation services.
Technician or labor services.
Disposal or removal of the affected product.
unless FOVTER has provided prior authorization.
Third-party repair, installation, or labor costs must be approved by FOVTER before the service is arranged.
Costs incurred without prior authorization may not be reimbursed.
6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim
If you discover a potential defect during the applicable 2-year warranty period, please contact FOVTER Customer Support as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
Please provide the following information where applicable:

FOVTER may request additional photographs, videos, measurements, product identification, assembly information, or other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
We generally acknowledge warranty inquiries within one business day. This acknowledgement period does not necessarily represent the time required to complete the review or resolve the claim.
Please keep the affected product, damaged components, packaging where reasonably available, and any relevant parts until FOVTER confirms the appropriate next steps.
Do not dispose of, modify, repair, return, or otherwise alter the affected product or components before receiving instructions if doing so could prevent FOVTER from reasonably evaluating the warranty claim.
